Visual Science Carnival

    On October 22, 2023, the “Visual Science Carnival” was launched in Liaoning Science and Technology Museum. The event was co-hosted by the Liaoning Science and Technology Museum and He Eye Specialist Hospital, with He University serving as the co-organizer and Liaoning Delos Foundation International as the supporter. Members of our university's Red Cross volunteer service team were honored to participate in this event to contribute to its success.

    During the event, our volunteers assisted the Liaoning Science and Technology Museum in organizing the "Visual Science Carnival," which focused on the theme "Science is Colorful." The volunteers played a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the carnival, overseeing the safety at various stations, and assisting in the overall event logistics. Additionally, our school recruited volunteers to conduct eye screenings for the children and parents attending the event, offering free eye examination services. These volunteers also supported immersive science experiences within the museum, helping to raise awareness of eye health prevention and inspire children and parents about innovative technologies like eye genetics, while emphasizing the importance of myopia prevention.

    Through this event, our volunteers not only brought warmth and enthusiasm to the young participants, but also demonstrated professionalism and capability to the staff at the Science and Technology Museum. Moving forward, our university will continue to promote the spirit of volunteer service and encourage more students to engage in volunteer activities.
