AIDS Prevention and Peer Education Activity

    In order to implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and deeply study the series of important speeches by President Xi Jinping, and to enhance the public awareness of AIDS prevention across society, effectively control the spread of AIDS, promote volunteer services, and advance peer education on AIDS. The Liaoning Red Cross, in collaboration with He University, held a training session on AIDS prevention and peer education from November 24 to 25. The activity focused on disseminating basic knowledge of AIDS, enhancing volunteers' understanding of the disease, and eliminating misconceptions and discrimination.

    This training improved our volunteers' awareness of the Red Cross's work and enhanced their comprehensive intervention ability in AIDS. It holds significant importance for curbing AIDS and building a harmonious and healthy campus environment. It also helps to eliminate the social prejudice against AIDS among some youth groups and arouse their empathy and care for HIV-infected people and patients. We hope that everyone in the world can pass on love, feel love, and embrace love with a more rational and healthy way. Let us protect life with compassion, fight against AIDS with action, cherish life, stay away from AIDS, safeguard health, and spread love and hope!
