Wei He, Professor, Chief Physician, Doctor of Medicine, Doctoral Supervisor, Member of the 11th, 12th, and 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), National High-Level Talent, Recipient of the Special Government Allowance from the State Council, Member of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, President of the Liaoning Provincial Western Returned Scholars Association (Overseas-educated Scholars Association of China), Consultant to the Shenyang Municipal People's Government, Chief Supervisor of the Liaoning General Chamber Of Entrepreneurs, and Member of the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party (CPWDP) and the Chairman of Liaoning He Eye Specialist Hospital Group Corporation Limited.

    In 1993, Dr. Wei He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Kyushu University, Japan. From 1993 to 1995, he worked as an ophthalmologist at the affiliated hospital of Fukuoka University in Japan. To fulfill the dream of serving the country with technology and benefiting the public with medical care, Dr. Wei He returned to China in 1995 to start his own business, and successfully co-founded He’s Eye Specialist Hospital, Shenyang He Vision Industrial Group Co., Ltd., and He University, among other institutions.

    Dr. Wei He currently holds the following positions: Executive Director of the Association for Ocular Pharmacology and Therapeutics (AOPT), Executive Committee Member of the International Council of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), Member of the Board of Directors of the International Ophthalmology Foundation (OF), Deputy Chairman of China National Prevention of Blindness Technical Steering Committee, Advisor to the 12th Committee of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Head of the Ocular Pathology Group of the 12th Committee of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Executive Member of the International Medical Tourism Branch of the China Non-Government Medical Institutions Association, Member of the Socially Managed Day Surgery Management Expert Committee of the China Ambulatory Surgery Alliance (CASA), Committee Member of the Collaborative Committee of the Human Phenome Consortium of China, Deputy Director of the 2nd Committee of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, Deputy Director of the 2nd Committee of the Ophthalmology Professional Committee of the China Association of Medical Equipment (CAME), and Deputy Director of the Ophthalmology Professional Committee of the 1st Traditional Chinese Medicine and Education Promotion Committee.
